What is a dual-mode camera?
Dual mode also called day & night, is a feature or a function of a camera that allow the color camera to automatically turn to B/W mode under certain low lighting level. Also a dual mode camera is sensitive to IR. However, B/W imaging is a mode, not a physical change to a B/W camera. Therefore will not surpass the low light capability of an actual B/W cameras.
