| Nanny
(hidden) cameras such as clock radio camera are all custom made. No major
brand companies mass manufacture one since it's a niche item. Each
vendor uses different components such as pinhole camera, transmitter,
receiver, power converter etc. We use quality components that will
last years & years. We have made over 3,000 nanny cameras. Asian manufacturers often buy a housing for a product from one company who distribute to many manufacturers. This is to keep the cost down but also means that two products may look the same but does not mean that it will be the same quality e.g: CM-1201 or All in One DVR Camera One important part of a CCTV system is its power source. Make sure the system comes with a regulated power supply, Standard power supplies are not regulated and will put out a lot more voltage then the camera needs, thus overheating the system and shortening its life. Please remember, CCTV equipment are not complicated system and anyone can install them. However it's a "do it yourself" system only when the sellers test, fine tune & set up with correct parts before shipping the order. |

TECHNICAL DEFINITION
auto iris: lens component for
controlling light intake of a camera
electronic auto iris: auto iris function which is built in to the CCD imaging circuit of

BLC: Back Light Control function that dims intense back light automatically for a brighter
picture of an object
AGC: Automatic Gain Control function that brightens image under low light condition.
Lux: light level. 1 lux = 1 candle light. lower the better.
composite video: analog video input & output signal used in all consumer &
security video equipment such as VCR, TV, security camera, video capture card, camcorder
etc
digital video: digital signal output used for computer USB port.
real time: 15 frames / sec = 30 fields /sec frame rate
time lapse: frame rate lower than real time
