This proprietary LED array illuminator is highly integrated and superior to conventional LEDs in 3 major ways: 
1. More power - IR-100D illuminator generate, on average, 100 times more optical output than a singly conventional LED. 
2. Significantly wider angle - standard LEDs have an avg. angle of 30 while our LED Array has an angle of 120 deg. resulting in a brighter and more evenly lit image. 
3. Longer Life Expectancy - Overheating is the reason LEDs burn out but IR-100D illuminator to dissipate heat to overcome this problem.
